ON GOLDEN POND

Directed by Rebecca Babilon

March 12 – 15, 2026

Ethel and Norman Thayer return to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth time. Norman, a sharp-witted but aging retired professor, struggles with declining health and memory, while Ethel delights in the small joys of their life together. A visit from their divorced daughter and her fiancé leaves his teenage son in their care for the summer, forming an unexpected bond that brings warmth, humor, and growth to all three. As summer fades and Norman suffers a mild heart attack, the couple face time’s passing with tenderness, gratitude, and hope for one more season on Golden Pond.

Elwood P. Dowd cheerfully includes his best friend Harvey—a six-and-a-half-foot-tall invisible rabbit—in his sister Veta’s social life, much to her embarrassment. Determined to protect her family’s reputation, Veta attempts to have Elwood committed, but a mix-up lands her in a sanitarium instead. As confusion spreads and Harvey’s influence seems to affect the staff, Elwood calmly arrives in search of his friend. By the end, Veta begins to wonder whether Harvey might not be so bad after all.
